It’s ZERO days!!!
I know you’ve all been wondering what I’ve been counting down to, well here it is. I’d like to introduce IamRunnerGirl.com!
Well, what I have been able to put together.
You see, I’m not a web designer. Don’t know anything about it. So I struggled to put together what is here, present on this day. It’s obvious I need help.
My biggest flaw is asking for help. My second biggest flaw is trusting people. Why do I suddenly feel like I’m at some sort of meeting? “Hi, my name is Christine and I can’t ask for help or trust people”…this is where all of you say “Hi Christine” right? I digress.
There’s another world inside of me that you may never SEE.
Some of you have asked what the 2016 race schedule will be, you can find that here.
There will be six races this year, one will be my first marathon, one will be my first international race, and if it all pans out, one will be the first race for HSV\HPV this world has ever seen. I’m SO excited!
As you can see, the website site needs work. Honestly, my entire campaign needs work. So this is me, doing something that is really hard to do (for me), asking for help. Consider this a call to action.
If you’d like to help, volunteer your time and talents, please consider joining the CLOSED GROUP called IamRunnerGirlVolunteerGroup. Before you consider taking such an endeavor, please understand that this is a closed group, not secret. Admission will still need to be approved by an administrator, but the members of this group can be seen. Any posts cannot be seen. Additionally, this group is not “H” specific. Anyone can join. However, YOUR status or anyone else(s) status will not be discussed to ensure everyone’s comfort.
My intent for this group is to decide, together, how IamRunnerGirl.com moves forward honoring Marvin’s vision. We will need talents of ALL KINDS. Secretarial, web design, tax folk, legal folk, you name it, we will need it. Again, all 100% volunteer. Let me be specifically clear here. Though currently IamRunnerGirl is an LLC, it will not make a profit. Any monies coming in will go out on expenses to benefit the community. Once the IRS status for a non-profit is acquired, it will then officially become a charity. That is my intent and I need folks who are willing to see it through and agree to that.
